Santacity's guide to a dexless infighter! *Note* I have created this guide when pirates did come out in gms but I haven't tryed everything as an infighter/brawler so please email any mistakes: Gary-ha@hotmail.com =============================================================================== Introduction =============================================================================== v0.1: Corrected spelling mistakes and added new training spots v0.2: Added 2 sp builds and Recommended Equipment v0.3: Corrected mistake in 2nd job Sp build and added a few training spots for lvl 50~70 Welcome to my guide to a dexless infighter which goes from lvl 1 ~70 The guide includes: - Pros and cons - Ap distribution - Skills on 1st job - Sp distribution on 1st job - Skills on 2nd job - Sp distribution on 2nd job - Training spots - Recommended Equipment =============================================================================== Pros and Cons =============================================================================== You might be wondering why a dexless infighter??? well it's pretty simple.... Its because of dmg. In my opinion, infighters/brawlers at early stages pwn all other classes including sins.... But when dexless, Even better dmg. But there aren't all positive to this as there are cons. Pros: 1) Ownage dmg!! you can hit 1~1.2k dmg with flash fist at lvl 30 if you have good equips and being dexless 2) Has the highest dmg range in game (I think) 3) Flashy moves at 2nd and especially 3rd job e.g dragon strike and transformation Cons: 1) Being dexless will make you really low on acc which make you miss alot at times 2) Expensive and I mean very expensive!! 3) MUST BE FUNDED! you could be spending around 300m for dex/str equips and pots! 4) No maple knuckle items atm... must wait till next anniversery so you'll have to have dex equips to equip the knuckles with dex.... You might think there's too much cons... but its well worth it. as in party quests, people will be jealous of your dmg and asking you to be in their party...... especailly in cpq =============================================================================== Ap distribution =============================================================================== When creating your own pirate, you have to choose your name, looks etc. This shows what your Ap distribution for your new character is supposed to be: Str = Any number Dex = Any number Int = 4 Luk = 4 First, when lvling from 1~10, put Ap into dex until its 20 then rest into str, DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT ADD ANY MORE DEX FOR THE REST OF YOUR MAPLE LIFE! THIS IS A DEXLESS GUIDE! adding dex might affect alot of your dmg. don't even add dex when your still missing monsters... just train on something different. So you might of figured out, from lvl 10+ add all points into str! with no dex, you'll be training fast with your pro dmg =============================================================================== Skills on 1st job =============================================================================== You have reached level 10!! I chose to max sommersault kick first rather than flash fist as training on mobs will be faster exp... but if you care more about dmg on 1 monster you could max flash fist first and then max sommersault kick later but its not ideal... or you could max flash fist before bullet time but you will be missing sometimes if you don't have enough dex/acc equips. I put the last point into double shot as i said before dash gets annoying. even with 1 point into dash... it won't make a diff either. So i chose to put the last useless point into double shot, but if you want dash, then put the point in dash. =============================================================================== Skills on 2nd job =============================================================================== You're level 30!!! You can buy 100% knuckle atk scrolls from el moth which is located just outside of elinia. NOTE: If you're going to scroll equipment yourself, Don't scroll with 10%'s as I think they're useless and fail like all the time except if your godly funded and can afford white scrolls. If you don't feel lucky, just buy from someone in FM. Credits: Me - Making this guide with no help at all Wizet and Nexon - For making maplestory!
