Due to numerous requests from our users, we have now put up the old guides on Hidden Street.

The author 'guide' does not represent the original author of the old guides. Because of the way our current system works, those who wish to submit their guides have to do so themselves; but since many of the old guides' authors have not re-uploaded their guides, we have to temporarily place the much-requested old guides under a placeholder name. If you're the original author of an old guide we have posted up, do register for an account under Hidden Street, and e-mail us with the username of your account and which guide it is, at [email protected]

Also, if you have not realized, our Damage Calculator is up for testing! If you would like to provide any feedback regarding the calculator, post them here.

We apologise for the problems affecting the search function, where no results will turn up even though the name is correct.

This problem has now been rectified, and it should be working as it should now.

Edited: Some configuration for the search had been changed. It should work better now.

We know many of you have ideas, suggestions, and other contributions that you'd love to share to us, but often enough, these ideas are not channeled properly, and they're often lost in the maze of the web.

We've now set up a month-long trial of that platform for you to ask a question, share an idea, report problems, errors or corrections you'd like us to make to our database, or if you'd like, leave a praise. It's a convenient, transparent way for you to see which questions/ideas/problems have been posed before, and if you have similar grouses/ideas/problems and would like to air it too, it's as simple as clicking on a button to indicate it. It would be easy for us to gauge which ideas should be at the top of our priorities, which problems to solve first, the list goes on.

As always, we try to respond to every single feedback we get; and if we don't (we have outside lives as well), other users may be able to help you.

Do note that this platform is restricted solely to feedback on Hidden Street and its databases alone, and not the actual game itself, be it MapleStory or La Tale (the forum exists for that very purpose). If this platform works well, we may abolish the Feedback & Suggestions board in our forum as it would very well encompass that as well. Rest assured that the forum will remain as it is, as this feedback platform serves a vastly different purpose than the forum.

We invite you to try it out. Simply click on the Feedback tab on the right of this page. If your feedback is pertaining to a specific database, please ensure that you click 'Add more details', and check the respective database/site.

We are aware of the auto-lock account when you try to login your forum's account. This is probably due to the configuration that we just did on the server.

We are currently looking into it and doing our best to rectify the problem there.

However, I found that you can login your forum's account without the www; http://hidden-street.net/forum. That doesn't work either.

To those who have submitted their guides and were added to the old database in the past, please re-submit your guide by logging into your HS.Network account (if you do not have an account yet, do register for it), and use the user navigation menu on the right sidebar. As before, your guide will have to be approved by us before it is posted to the Guide section.

We suggest that you upgrade your browser to either IE7 or IE8, or you could download other awesome browsers which we really recommend you to use; such as Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera for better viewing and navigation of the site.

We will not be fixing the bugs for IE6 and there will be a notification for you to upgrade your browser if you are still on IE6.

So, kindly take note :)

Since there are only a few minor things left to complete the new MapleGlobal database, we have decided to release it today -- shiny and new. Most of the new updates (Ereve, Ellin, Knights of Cygnus, etc) which have not been included in the old database are now in the new database too. Certain things we have yet to port over to the new database include the monster drops for Potions and Food, as well as information for Item Synthesis, and we'll be updated them in the coming weeks.

We'd also like to thank our Database Moderators for assisting us tirelessly with the transfer, without whom, this new database would not come into being as "quick" (and we say this with hesitation) as we could now. Many thanks too to our visitors who were patient enough to put up with our non-existent updates for the past few months.

We'd like to apologise that we're unable to reply to every e-mail that we have received in the past few months due to severe time constraints. But rest assured we're working to update/correct our database with your submissions and help. Feel free to post your feedback, comments, criticisms, etc on the new database in this news item; or e-mail us any further corrections/additions/updates that you'd like us to make at [email protected].

To those who are still using Internet Explorer 6 (IE6), you may have some problem in viewing our site correctly; the sidebars have extra lines.
